About Me

My therapeutic approach

My practice is psychodynamic. This means that I am particularly interested in how past events might have influenced your life and relationships – including the one with yourself. Many of my clients come to me with a specific problem, whether it’s a relationship that’s flagging, or work that’s unbearable… but often we end up finding a deeper issue, or an overarching theme that has dominated their life. My work is to help you find what’s really troubling you – and why it might be so hard to shake.

I work relationally and psychosocially, meaning that next to what’s being said I will also pay attention to what we might be playing out between us. I believe that these dynamics are often influenced by social realities and power imbalances.

My psychodynamic training is complemented by previous integrative and dramatherapy trainings, allowing me to bring flexibility and a playful flavour to our work.

My qualifications & experience

After nearly a decade of working in human rights, I re-trained as a Psychotherapist. I have grown my practice through the following trainings:

PGDip in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy, Goldsmiths University of London (2024-2026, MA to be awarded in 2027)

MSc in Psychology, Arden University (2022-2024)

Level 3 Diploma in Integrative LGBT+ Affirming Counselling (2022)

I have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings, including a low-cost national clinic, a specialist service for people experiencing homelessness, and a number of London NHS psychiatric wards. I have also co-run a number of mental health support groups for people experiencing sexual violence and workplace harassment.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their ethical framework.
